First Day of Preschool

Kaitlin is attending a new Preschool this fall and was so excited for her first day of school. She is doing really well and enjoying each day. We are looking forward to a good year. Next year will be Kindergarden!!!

New Baby Cousin/Nephew

Kaitlin and I went to see the Skinner family the last part of August. We thought surely she would have the baby before we left, after all she was due Aug 16th. Well, just 15 hours before we had to leave from our "mini-vacation," Gauge Elijah Skinner was born. We were so excited that he arrived before we left. Kaitlin was so proud and excited to spend time with Gauge.

Child of the Corn!

Kaitlin has wanted to learn about corn this summer. She got a chance to stand next to corn and take a picture, she was so excited!

More Summer Fun

Our local Hy-Vee grocery store had a kid's cooking demo day. Kaitlin and I went and her little friend from church was there. Katilin had a blast making the food, and then getting to eat it.

More summer fun...Kaitlin got to enjoy riding in a convertible!! She was so excited!

Early Birthday Surprise!!!

Surprise, Surprise from Ben and Peggy (my in-laws). I feel so blessed and beyond thankful for the gift I received. Words can't even describe.

Started off with me getting to chose where I wanted to eat dinner, and then came home to a tub full of presents.

So I opened, and I opened...all things for my "used car"...

Then when the box was empty, out came one more box that said:

"It's your birthday and we're pumped even though your car needs to be jumped...And while we have no cash for your clunker, we hope this will satisfy your hunger!

What do those keys open?

Ben and Peggy were so gracious to give me Peggy's car. I enjoy driving a reliable car and I actually have 4 doors, cup holders, and automatic locks and windows!!! Boy, am I moving up in the world!!

Summer Fun!

Well....yes I am attempting to start my blog again, and keep it going!!! We are doing well here in Quincy. Just wanted to share some of the latest of Kaitlin. She is a busy little 4 year old and is enjoying many things this summer. Enjoy!

Kaitlin loves trucks, any and all kinds. She was able to take some pictures in a firetruck. She loved it!!

And a little putt-putt golf!! Yes she had to have the pink ball!! She enjoyed it, but didn't think it was fun to hit the ball softly.

Kaitlin thought it was funny when my ball went in the water!
